Get Connected to Google+ for Your Business
In June of 2011, Google+ launched as an invitation-only social networking site. By September of that year, the service was opened up to everyone 18 years of age or older. However, businesses were not yet allowed to create profiles. In fact, those that did create a “business profile” as an individual were eventually deleted by Google. That changed in November when Google+ Pages were launched.
